To give you a glimpse of what’s ahead, here’s what some of our participants have said about their experience:

My partner truly stood out during the whole program. From the very beginning, she showed great motivation and a genuine interest in learning the language, exploring the culture behind it and get to know me better. She always participated actively and brought a lot of positive energy with her. What impressed me the most was how supportive she was. She encouraged me when I unsure about speaking English and helped create a comfortable and friendly learning environment. Throughout the program, she worked very hard to improve her German and was always willing to challenge herself. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and kindness made a real difference.
Greta is so kind and patient and always helps me when I am unsure of vocabulary and grammar. She is always on time to our sessions and very accommodating when I have to reschedule. Her enthusiasm is inspiring and has turned our sessions into a highlight of my week. It has really been a privilege to get to know her through Spellian.
Whenever we are talking, I feel as if we are having a real conversation and not just following the session guidelines, as we often end up mentioning things that aren't in the text and do get sidetracked by other topics that we are both passionate about. Furthermore if there are words I don't understand she tries to explain them by using examples, and alternatively when we are talking in English if I suggest a word that she could use, she makes an effort to use it later in conversation to practise the new vocabulary. I never feel like what I'm saying is silly, no matter how formal the language, as she is very supportive and adds onto my points if she can. I'm very grateful for all the support she has given me, and for her obvious dedication to practising English by learning idioms or sayings that I have used in order to make our conversations more fluid.
