En mi opinión Spellian es una de las mejores maneras de mejorar un nuevo idioma, ya que aparte de aprender te diviertes conociendo a tu compañero. Es interesante saber cómo es una persona de un lugar diferente al tuyo y conocer sus tradiciones así que eso te motiva. Spellian es una forma más fácil de mejorar tu pronunciación, comprensión y de corregir los errores que tienes. Aparte de aprender también enseñas a tu compañero, así que eso lo hace aún más interesante. Ha sido una gran experiencia para mí y lo recomiendo a todos aquellos que quieran mejorar idiomas de una forma diferente y divertida en la cual conoces a gente nueva.

Ella is very attentive and helpful, a very kind and friendly girl. I think she is a wonderful person and the partner that anyone would want! She is an exemplary girl who has supported me and has helped me a lot with pronunciation and vocabulary. From the very beginning I have liked her very much and I have felt very comfortable at her side. She has made me love English more than i did before, and I’m very grateful for her help!

My partner is one of the best people I have ever met, she makes me feel at ease and is always super friendly and a good companion. We have many things in common, like musical taste, hobbies, favourite food, personality, and it feels like she is now like a lifelong friend. She is super helpful during the sessions and when I find something difficult, she explains it to me in simpler words so that I can understand it and we have a great time on the calls. We always finish all the questions and afterwards we spend a while talking about how our day has gone and explaining our life. She also recommends me songs, series, movies, books… I hope that one day she can come to Barcelona or I to London and we can spend a few days together!

Throughout this last year, I have been blessed with Tess as my Spellian partner, and, for her, I’ve got no words but “Thank you”. I will admit that, at first, I was quite fearful to participate in the program, since I’ve always been quite shy; but from the very first day, Tess has been an awesome partner. She is always ready to learn new words and expressions in Spanish, and her enthusiasm to learn the language is unquestionable. Furthermore, she is incredibly nice, considerate, and friendly; always happy to help me without any judgement whatsoever. Finally, my English has got much better thanks to her. I feel like our zoom calls are a safe space to practice, since I know that, even if I say an entire sentence wrong, she won’t make fun of me, instead she will help me to get to the point where I will be able to speak English fluently and without any major mistakes.

My partner Aritri has always showed a kind and helpful behaviour towards me and the lessons. She has made me improve my English a lot and has always been supporting and a person you could ask anything about everything. By the way, she has improved a lot during this course and I’m really proud to say she is way better in Spanish than she was when she started.

Yo he sido una de esas personas que no dejó escapar la oportunidad, y gracias a ello, he vivido momentos especiales y me lo he pasado muy bien.
Lo que destacaría es el seguimiento que nos daba Spellian y los temas que nos proponían. Ayudaban a romper el hielo y dejaban fluir una larga conversación. También la encuesta que nos hicieron antes de asignarnos un compañero / a, ayudó mucho a la hora de compartir los gustos y aficiones.
¡Deja la vergüenza en otra parte y déjate llevar!
Comunicarte, hablar y divertirte es lo que harás durante todo el programa con tu compañero / a.
Conocerás una cultura diferente y compartirás también costumbres de la tuya.
Hablarás en diferentes idiomas y a la vez te lo pasarás bien.
Una experiencia diferente está en tus manos, no la dejes perder.
