What is included
The payment covers the assignation of one exchange partner of a similar age, the scheduling of the sessions, the personalised access to the Spellian platform with the resources for each session and the link to the videocalls, as well as the attendance of a Spellian tutor on the first call. Spellian does not charge a monthly quote and we offer free support and comprehensive advice to each participant throughout the programme.
Spellian's sessions will start in the Autumn Term and run weekly until late March, with a pause during Christmas and the
UK half term holidays. The subscription is valid for the duration of the programme, unless the participant chooses to leave the programme before, or fails to adhere to the Spellian Code of Conduct (e.g. through unjustified missing participation or inappropriate behaviour).
Whilst we strive to assign a partner to each student, we cannot guarantee that every applicant will be assigned a partner. If we cannot find a suitable partner before the exchange starts, we will refund the subscription minus a £15 administration fee. Once the exchange has started, if the student's partner leaves the programme or fails to attend the weekly sessions, Spellian will do its best to find a suitable second partner to continue the programme, and if unsuccessful will offer a 25% discount for the subscription in the following school year.
For cancellations made before the 20th September, any payment made will be refunded in full. From the 21st September the fees will be non-refundable.
The registration fee is non-refundable. The only exception is when we cannot find a partner for an applicant, in which case we will refund the registration fee, minus a £15 administration fee. As per the terms and conditions, once the programme has started, we cannot offer refunds.
Spellian cannot take responsibility for students’ attendance, and we don’t offer refunds if your child or their partner fail to attend their sessions.
